oh wait i think whats making the shapes look different is the size of the tires in the concept...

all it needs is the bowtie

oh I just noticed the lower grille is bigger? can i change that through the aftermarket??

I Imagine that there will be sites dedicated to supplying concept like pieces for this car

We've gone over this concept vs. spy pic stuff for a while. Bad pics, poor lighting and odd angles make this car look very different in almost every pic. So far the general consensus is the coke-bottle shape is still there but in this case the black color and poor pic quality hides it. Not to mention smaller dia wheels and higher suspension stance. Drop this car and add the concept wheels and it'll look very close. Wheel well flares are more pronounced but I happen to know they look a bit less pronounced on the concept convert than they actually are too. Lighting.

The nose does have some changes. Larger lower grille opening. Probably for better ventilation. Grille seems a bit thicker and there seems to be a cut in the front fascia between the headlights and larger fog lights.

I mean its close...but i just want it exactly like the concept whatever you guys gotta do at gm...just make it like the concept...or at least give us different options like i'm not sure i'm digging the larger grille but maybe i might like it better in person...

well i trust you guys who are making the car...

the more i look at it the more it grows on me...

It's pretty much what one would expect. The Concept, except higher off the ground, more wheel gap, and larger profile tires/small wheel. I'm sure most of this will not exist with the Z/28 model.

The black car is probably (hopefully) the V-6 model. I hope the V-8 models get the smaller lower grille opening like the concepts.

I also noticed that the stainless trim around the windshield is missing.
So it's either not there because this is a pre-pro or because it's not ever going to be there. If the latter is the case, then that's too bad. I really liked the stainless trim around the winshield and under the wipers.

i'm still not sure which lower grille would look better...given the fact that there are slightly different dimensions between the concept and pre-pro perhaps the bigger grille might make it look better with the new dimensions ...i'm not sure but i would have to see how it looks with the smaller grille on the bottom to make that decision

I mean its just a minor thing it looks gorgeous and yeah it would be awesome if we could put the stainless steel trim...

The second picture is not a good shot. It's a non-lit, low mega pixel, picture that was shot from 6 feet in the air on a flat plane.

The first pic IS lit, and was taken with a real camera and the car is sitting on an incline and the photog is kneeling down to best capture the lines of the car.

The car is ridiculously similar to the concept!
Don't compare apples to oranges guys.
