Concept's weight.

I know the concept has no bearing on how much the actual production car will weigh, but just out of curiousity, does anyone know how much the concept weighs?

Re: Concept's weight.

Charlie said he asked everyone he could, but no one gave him an awnser.

he said the concept was on a Sigma chassis, so whatever it weights is almost guaranteed to be different from what the production model comes in at.

if i had to guess from the specs of the car, i'd say somewhere around 3,600.

It'll weigh less than CTS.

I got the impression that they meant a fully loaded CTSv.

Did you mean that so much you had to say it twice?

Re: Concept's weight.

lol, That is odd that they based the concept off the Sigma, I thought I heard or read it was based off the Zeta light, which was supposed to be the current GTO platform updated...... hmmmm.

Sigma is just the donor chassis for the concept.

Re: Concept's weight.

Well the car is a massive 2m wide!!!

That is going to add some mass.

If I were GM I still wouldn't trim its dimensions. The Camaro sizes up as an F1 car with a cage.

Re: Concept's weight.

I'd love to see a curbweight of no more than 3350 lbs...but I doubt that will happen.

Re: Concept's weight.

Won't happen, but I agree with you completely that it should be that way
