The information included in this Ordering Workbook is GM confidential and is intended for salesperson and wholesale personnel only. Product information is preliminary. Production models may vary.

and I've read comments with folks pleading with GM to not fire him... he's not an employee of GM. He worked for a local dealership. The dealership fired him.

He'd have been fired anyway if he did work for GM, but folks are barking up the wrong tree.
what if you are not am employee of the dealership or gm but you have access to the web sight?

Then you're either privileged or crafty, or both, but with power comes responsibility. You have to respect the fact that you (any one of us really, this isn't directed at anyone) aren't the only link in the chain. Wouldn't it suck if Camaro's biggest fans were the cause of a bad turn for the car's namesake? And I don't mean mullets.

well if it is offered and not in the book it shouldnt have been sent to the dealers to use when placing orders on the 13th. it should have been corrected before sent.

and if it only takes a color to change your mind from a camaro to a mustang, obviously they dont care what car it is they just want the color.
i could never flip flop like that. im chevy (gm) all the way!

Yeah I dont know if I mentioned this or not, but on the other website, Fbodfather said somethings were wrong and had to be taken out. Now imagine what a person did not end up buying a Camaro for that reason ?

well like i said it should probably been double checked before going to the dealers and not sent if it wasnt ready. not blaming anyone just saying you should really play it safe if all your info isnt right.

you misstyped "to use" but you hit "submit post"

mistakes happen. even if you proofread something 20 times, things get missed. the issue isnt the accuracy of hte info as much as a dealer employee releasing priledged information.

and yeah, you'd be surprised what seemingly insignificant issue could swing a purchase one way or the other. For Camaro to be truely successful, it needs to appeal to a wider base than the GM faithful.

i didnt have anyone to proof read my reply. and i also didnt pay thousand of dollars to type that reply.

my point is: i work for a company that is in the wholesale industry and we have literature and newsletters we send out to reps all the time. we never do anything unless we know everything is correct and ready to be sent. i dont know maybe they are just as excited to ge tthe car out as we are to have the car. i love the new info and the secret things we get to see so im not mad we get this stuff. i just wish it were right the first time around.

Maybe I am simply ignorant to acronyms or new technology in vehicles... But would anyone know what "Wireless PDIM, for use with steering wheel controls with auxiliary device" is...? I am interpreting it as some sort of input for things like an iPod. Can anyone educate me on this?

It is listed for the 2SS
