Big Wheels?

Anyone think 21' wheels in the front is a lil big...will slow it down a bit straight line...???????????????????

Hopefully they're just kidding....

Re: Big Wheels?

I agree-those things are massive. I hope we dont have a new 4X4 look when they go to 17's or 18's though. The added cost alone of those 21" wheels would make me believe we wont see those in production.

Re: Big Wheels?

Concept cars seem to always have huge wheels. I am sure that the production car would be 17's or 18's.

yep, but the time it does come out, 18" will be the norm, and no big deal.

During the unveil, Lutz said they were 21 in the front and 22 in the rear...

Re: Big Wheels?

there is no official production car right now. All we have is the concept. When asked about the production car and the date it will be availble mr. lutz walked around the question.

Re: Big Wheels?

Anything less than 18's is unacceptible.

18s front & 19s rear should be manditory.

Heck, The Magnum, Charger & 300 (srt8s) use 20's all around.

Re: Big Wheels?

Its going to have 14" brake rotors, so I think even 18" wheels are going to be on the tight side.

For 13" brakes they recommend a minimum of 17" wheels.

I agree 100% especially by the time the "production Camaro" is due to roll out. I will say the style of the concept wheels isn't too impressive. I think some of the deeper dish variety would look better on this car. IMO
