Okay, I've got this figured out.
You're posting your IMG tags with the URL to the page, not the URL to the image.
Here's a walkthrough.
First, upload your picture to ImageShack. You seem to have this figured out.
Second, get the image URL. It's the one labeled "Direct link to image"
Third, make your post. Type it in like this:
That should work.
