Thumbs up Re: Any other long time regulars…..

I've been a lurker for years. Really not much to post about until now.

Heh, I can remember back in '01 arguing with someone called "Red Planet" on the old SLP forum and here about whether or not the 4th gen was going to get the LS6 for its final year. Little did I know who "Red Planet" was back then.

My how things have changed. Great times to be around this forum indeed.

...going back to lurk mode now - I need to get busy and save up some beans for my '09.

Not that I've been around for as long as many of you, but I've been here long enough to notice the huge increase in threads.

It's more than welcomed if you ask me

Re: Any other long time regulars…..

I joined this site back in '01 and I think about 75% of my posts have been in the 5th gen forum regarding the demise and possible future of the Camaro. Not to mention all the concept drawings, the SS vs Z28 debates, the Zeta chronicles, the name game whether or not Camaro was going to be used, the naysayers, etc. etc.

I am glad to see that today, some of those chapters are going to close and new ones will open up for discussion with the knowledge that the car exists and is here again

Re: Any other long time regulars…..

Like others have said, this place is pretty busy now. You go away for an hour and you've probably missed something big. The first leaks, only to have the leaks sealed, reopened and then sealed again, then the latest SNAFU at R&T - I almost missed that one.

There was a time - OK plenty of times - that you could go away for a couple of days and not really miss anything. The past week or so has been unreal. I've been coming here to cz28.com since 2000 and for 99% of that time it has been to the 5th gen corner of the board. I rarely visit the other sections and some, like the lounge I've never even opened. This place is like a second home.

It's good to see it so alive....

Re: Any other long time regulars…..

It's been a wild ride to say the least. It really hard to believe that in a little over an hour, the new Camaro will be revieled to the whole world, not just us die hards. I always believed Scott when he said "Keep the faith" that something was going on, just didn't know what. Now we all know!!
