There is only one driveable coupe concept. The others are push cars. I'm guessing thats at Geneva.

Well, given that it actually had an iterior, I'd guess it's the 'driver'. Also the lights worked and the doors opened. If you saw the red one, it didn't have any interior at all, I doubt the doors opened and I'm pretty sure the lights didn't work, though I may be wrong on that.

The Bumblebees are GTOs underneath, does that make them Camaro concepts?

Thumbs up

ChrisL,

I would have to say yes. They are concepts. I heard that there is another silver push car also???
But back to his question. The push cars have no interiors and have no drivetrains nothing but an exterior. So are these concpets?? Sure are. The Bumblebee's have running gear and the skin and some accents to the interior of the concepts. Is it a concept?? I would say yes.

So you got
Silver: Running concept
Red: Push car
Silver: Push car
Orange convertible: running concept
2 Bumblebee Camaro's: Running concepts

Sothat makes it 6 that are out and about.

Hey GM how bout having one of the cars at the Transformers convention the week of the movie in July? In R.I.? Or the New England Summer nationals, largest event on this side of the country. 7000 cars showed up last year??
Since I dont think any of the concepts have gone to New England yet and here it is on other continents??

I have to disagree. The bumblebees are movie cars based on the concept.

sure they are jg

So what makes the red push car a concept?
The red push cars do not have anything but exterior.
Same as the bumblebee cars.
Saleen got the skins from GM from the actual car they made from the original concepts from. and grafted them onto the GTO.
What are the underpinnings of both cars?? Engines and what not on the Silver concept and orange?
Officially they have been on display with Chevy at the Daytona. So they are showcasing them around.
Now again officially no they are not GM concepts. But my reasoning is this. They are camaro concepts and I am sure GM gave Saleen a few more shells than just for the movie..if you know what I mean...

so yea unofficially its a concept camaro.
But to me it is the Concept Camaro in all its glory..
