LOL! I agree on that one. But if we can keep calling it a F-Body.. the much more sweeter!!!

I could care less what GM refers to it as...when I talk about Camaros and Firebirds of any generation first, fifth whatever...they're all F-bods to me...

Sometimes calling them an f-body to a non car guru..... brings some weird looks, and lengthy conversations. Keep the F in our cars please

I hope they keep it as the "F" car...

Otherwise we'd be seeing VIN's like "2G1ZP"

Having owned 4 fourth-gen cars, I can't imagine one that doesn't have an F in it

The "F" designation is a tradition.............and while I cannot confirm anything, we hear you.

Ha, talk to the A-body, B-Body, G-Body, or even H-body guys. They all talk that way!

That's true. Any die-hard fans of a particular car know it's chassis code. A lot of the import guys know the Honda/Acura codes (ie, my '90 4dr Integra is a DB, while the 2dr is a DA).

Put W-bodies on that list too. All of the die-hard Grand Prix guys know their body code too.

I'll take a 1G1Z over a 2G1F.... not gonna happen but since we are talking about what we'd like to see.

They can put what ever they want into the VIN, I really don't care.

Something does tell me, however, that in 5 or 6 years time, we will start to see arguements brewing over whether the Zeta Camaro is better than the F-body.

Think about it.... the Zeta Camaro will be a more solid structure (very few if any interior rattles). It will be more refined (let's be honest: the plastic interior pieces in pretty much every previous Camaro ever built was not the greatest). And it will out-handle every single Camaro ever built.

You'll see - you'll have the F-bod fans and the Zeta fans.
