I think you'll be surprised here.

Not saying that the 370Z won't outhandle it, just that I think it will be closer than you think.

Not so sure the 370Z is gonna nipping 12's in stock form either Not trying to diss the 370Z as Im sure it will be a hell of a car and I do like the current Z cars , but...Guess well see

Something about transmission failures and their refusal to warranty the replacement.
The current 350z is a GREAT handling car, and it weighs ~3350lbs. The 370z is supposed to be 150-200lbs less, and it's got even more tire than the 350z. It WILL outhandle the SS. We're talking about a 600+ lbs difference combined with the fact that the Z is an out-and-out sports car.

The camaro is great. Lets not kid ourselves though, huh?

As an example of the sort of handling prowess GM is turning out these days, I give you this:

The 2008 Cobalt SS coupe, which is not a "sports car" by any means, laps the Nurburgring four seconds faster than the 350Z.

The 350Z has more tire, better weight distribution, and a better power-to-weight ratio, plus the inherent advantage of being RWD.
