Unknown just yet, but given GM walking away from this key selling point on Saturns, and their aim for tighter body panel tolerences, I doubt it.

I've seen plenty of cracked Camaro fenders, and my 97's lower section broke in 2 after I ran over road debris which probally would have left a big, but repairable dent with a conventional fender. Those composit fenders aren't cheap either.

I am glad I found this site. I have 2 years left on a lSUV lease and I am ready to get a car again...the camaro has perfect timing. I am very excited. I test drove some typical Mom cars yesterday and I was upset cause I want something fun. So now I want a Camaro. My hubby owned camaro's before (and I kind of miss it)

I was happy to read this post and see the new one comes out just when my lease is up.

lots of great news here and I appreciate it.

I will be browsing some more, hope to post a pic of my new car here someday

I am also planning to go to the Chicago auto show and I hope the camaro will be there.

This is based on zero facts, but is there any talk of AWD?

No AWD planned at this time to my knowledge.

I think that is more promising than AWD.

Heritage aside AWD on the 5th gen would be amazing. Could you imagine taking an A6 Z28 throwing in a stall and running deep into the 12s with a stock motor!

I hope the 5th gens hook better then the 4th's do. Much like the 05+ Mustangs do.

LS1 4th Gens did that almost 10 years ago.

Orly? I think you'd need tires and full boltons to do something like a 12.1 with a 4th gen.

I've seen "full bolt-on" LS1s on a DR go deep, deep into the 11s.

Granted - tis not the norm, but it is not that special anymore either.

Things like that are not typically released until just before the whole car is as they often change. I would wait on the tattoo. I personally don't think anything will be the same as before.
