damn I knew I should have checked this thread first.... Was expecting to see both the coupe and 'vert at Chicago (selfish I know..) based on the ChicagoAutoShow.com web site, where under vehicles on display>concepts it lists both:

The Louisville Auto Show was the last weekend in Jan. and the Camaro wasn't there, we did get the Kappa based Nomad concept which is a couple of years old. The Louisville auto show only gets concepts that are 2 or 3years old, because its not that big or important of a show.
If the Camaro makes it to Atlanta in March, that would probably be the closest it gets for a while, but as of right now its not listed for the Atlanta auto show?

I'm really disappointed that the convertible was not at the last day (Sunday the 18th) of the Chicago Auto Show. The convertible and the G8 are the only reason I went. I saw everything else last year. Supposably they shipped it out Saturday night to go to a function in California. I knew I shouldn't have waited until the last day, but damn, a little warning would have been nice. I at least got a free Camaro pinup. I have to say that the G8 was better in person than in the pictures. It looks amazing. The hood scoops don't look as chintzy in person as they do in the pictures. GM is starting to get this thing turned around.

I liked seeing it in a color instead of plain old silver (sorry to all those who like silver! ) ... gives a different perspective.
.....looking forward to what we'll see NEXT YEAR!!!

Are any of the concepts scheduled to appear at the Twin Cities auto show starting on March 10th. Their website does not show nor have I seen on here it scheduled. If not it is a shame with all the F Bodies in the greater midwest.
