Angry Trunk panel seam leak.

I have a 2013 ss coupe. I'm have a issue with water in the trunk. It is leaking at the seam by the trunk hinge on the passenger side. You can see where it is welded at the factory in 2 spots and sealant in between. Has anyone else has this issue. Dealer said it's out of warranty (37000 miles), and the extended won t cover it. Little pissed Chevy won't stand behind a factory issues.

Greetings emcklc,

Sincere apologies for the trunk panel leak on your Camaro. While I definitely understand your concern, please know that we take a case-by-case approach with regard to providing cost assistance on potential out-of-warranty repairs. Also, any potential cost assistance would be explored following an official diagnosis at a certified GM dealer. Without stating any particular options, we can contact your preferred dealer to explain your situation and see what we may be done to assist you. Feel free to send us a private message if you'd like to discuss this further.

Kind regards,

William R.
