Hello everyone,

This is my very first post and I would like a little bit of advice and opinions. I just bought a 2011 LT, cyber Gray. I want to add stripes to it and I want them to be black. However, my neighbor and my wife think that black is not going to look good. I on the other hand think it will look sharp. What do all of you think about black stripes on cyber gray?

What kind of look are you going for? If you like a subdued look, it would look great. I suggest flat black stripes if you really want it to be subtle but effective.

On the other hand, white would look very good if you want to stand out, and if you want a nice blend, try silver stripes. I am surprised more people aren't doing that, so it would be more unique.

Another vote for the CGM / black combo... that's what I originally had planned to get, until I found the IBM sitting on a lot.

flat black or if you liek the way Matte looks, do that instead. i think white stripes are horrible on anything but a black vehicle. let us know what u go with, and any othe rplans?

Ok, I went with the black stripes. It looks great. I ended up creatinging a design that looks pretty much like the Bumble Bee stripe except I have it going over the roof as well.

I'll post pictures this weekend in my garage. One thing that sucks though, since I live in Texas I have to have a front license plate put on it tomorrow.
