Nice! This is an easy mod that is almost fun to do.

One tip...make sure you put dielectric grease on all contacts if necessary. I even use the stuff on household bulbs. Cheap insurance.

Re: Diy sequential tail lights

Has anyone who did this noticed a "check rear bulb" warning on the DIC after installing this? I get that sometimes when I am done using the turn signal. However, the bulbs are fine.

I think that when I move the turn signal lever to the "off" position, it is sometimes in mid-sequence...like the one bulb has fired but the other one didn't, and somehow the lighting system knows it and thinks it second bulb in the sequence is burned out.

Yes the check bulb info comes on pretty often.Today though it came on and the signal is flashing quickly. This sounds like a bulb. When she gets home it's taillight fixn' time!
