Aux Jack out!

Has anyone had problems with their USB connectivity? started off being intermittent but after this wk end seems to be permanent, going to have to take it in get it checked out.

Well the USB doesn't respond to plugging in a I pod or phone at all.

Just to troubleshoot, did you try the aux in (headphone style) jack to see it the entire unit is getting any power or signal?

I have given it my all except for disconnecting the battery. Haven’t had the car out since then will have to take another look this wk end. Last thing I want is to have to take back to the service department we have a better than worse history with one another already and the BBB. Thanks for the concern, least there isn’t anymore us coming fwd on this.

Just find a different service department, you don't have to go to the one you bought the car from.

Thank you sir, ever since joining this site you’ve had nothing but solid feedback. Let’s just say I know aircraft better than cars and ripping into the center console is something I’m weary about, had a couple electronic guys look at it from work and their saying its defiantly a bad connection from the female port or ground, I also have another question, that you might just be able to help with I’m going to post in the aftermarket discussion.

aux jack out

what is this and how do you get to it

I know where the usb and such are those would be jack ins right is the jack out the head phone thing i thought that was a in port

i am wanting after market subs but love the radio saw the aux jack out and was wondering what that was

Yes, it is the headphone jack by the USB, it is for input and not output.
